As you may know I recently purchased bjammins TT. Anyways Currently the car has SSR GT3's 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rears with 285 Michelin pilot sports. They break loose at the top of 2nd. The front wheels have 20mm spacers. The front wheels have a decent amount of curb damage. Looks fine at a distance but within 10' you can tell. Not so much the drivers side but the passenger side is pretty bad. The rears are in excellent shape.
On my NA I have a set of 17x8 and 17x9 SSR GT1's in near PERFECT condition. All except for one pretty good curbed sport on one of the front wheels. It's only about 1/2"-3/4" long but is pretty deep. These have the correct offsets for the Z and fit perfect without spacers.
I love the GT3's but am really leaning towards putting the GT1's on for the following reasons.
-Better condition
-They fit without spacers
-17" tires are nearly half the price
-Ride quality and performance of smaller lighter wheels What's the biggest tire I can fit on a 17x9 +42 wheel? The only thing that's really stopping me is I'm worried about traction. That and I do like the looks of the bigger wheels. On a side note I never can indent my paragraphs. I space, I tab and they look fine in the box I'm typing them in but once I post everything is all the way to the left margin.
